Journaling is one of those small habits that can make a big difference. You don't need to write pages or have the "perfect" words--just a few lines about your day, your thoughts, or what's on your mind. Here's how it helps:
- Clarity: Writing things down makes your thoughts feel less jumbled and more manageable.
- Reflection: You'll notice patterns in how you think, act, and grow over time.
- Progress: You'll have a record of where you've been and how far you've come.
Consider starting small over break, and picking up with your advisor when you get back: five minutes a day, no rules, just you and the page. You might be surprised at the power of this simple act!
