Digital Arts teacher Jere Williams had his artwork featured at the Smithsonian Craft Show 2026 this spring in Washington, D.C. His booth showed the same mix of curiosity, creativity, and craftsmanship that students see in his classes.

If you remember our profile on him from last year, Jere talks about creativity as something we all already have. To him, it's not a talent you "earn," but something you learn to notice; "You're already as creative as you could ever be."

This perspective resonates deeply in his classes, where students learn to trust their instincts, stay with ambiguity, and explore ideas through making.

Seeing his work on display at the Smithsonian is a great reminder of what he teaches: creativity grows when you stay curious and keep exploring--then presenting and sharing--your ideas.
